Why Real Expertise Goes Unseen
Executives rarely lack ideas. What’s missing is a system: someone to pull the ideas out, write them in your voice and publish them on schedule.
Less-qualified voices get the attention
Competitors with half your experience show up in your buyers' feeds every week. You don't.
You post in bursts, then go quiet
A few posts after a conference, then nothing for months. Inconsistency doesn't build an audience.
Ghostwritten posts sound generic
Templates and AI filler read like everyone else. Your peers can tell it isn't you.
Nobody owns it
It's on your list, your marketing team's list and your assistant's list. So it never happens.

Social-First Thought Leadership and Executive Personal Branding
Thought leadership marketing isn’t company posting with your face on it, and it isn’t a prospecting campaign. It’s your expertise, published consistently where your audience already spends time.
Executive Expertise and Point of View
We build every program around what you actually know: your experience, your opinions and the questions your audience is asking. Original insight, not recycled tips.
Personal Authority vs. Company Social Media
People follow people. Your profile reaches buyers and peers that a company page doesn't, in your own voice and under your own name.
Thought Leadership vs. Prospecting
We build authority and inbound interest. We don't send cold messages from your account. Outbound is a separate service with separate rules.

| Company social media | Executive thought leadership | Outbound prospecting | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Whose voice | Your company's brand | Yours, as a named leader | Yours, in direct messages |
| Main goal | Brand awareness and updates | Authority, trust and relevant visibility | Conversations with a target list |
| Content | Company news, offers and culture | Your insights, opinions and experience | Personalized outreach sequences |
| Engagement | Brand replies on the company page | Conversations on your posts and in your network | One-to-one replies to prospects |
| Measured by | Page reach and followers | Visibility with the right audience and inbound conversations | Replies and qualified leads |

A planned calendar of written posts, carousels and branded visuals, designed for each channel and scheduled for when your audience is active.
Executive Profile Optimization
Headline, About section, featured content and banner rewritten so the profile matches the authority your posts are building. You approve every change.
Engagement and Community Support
Replies, comments and conversations handled the way you're comfortable with: by our team, by you with drafted replies, or shared. Anything sensitive comes to you first.
Reporting and Content Optimization

Channels and Content Formats
We go where your audience already is. For most executives that’s LinkedIn first, with X, Facebook and Instagram added when they fit.
Most programs start here

Already have talks, webinars, articles or podcast appearances? We can use them as source material and adapt them into posts for each channel. New video or article production is scoped separately.

Thought Leadership Work Examples and Results
Real client work, plus the formats we write in. We only publish results we can attribute, and we keep impressions, engagement, followers and inquiries separate.

The Formats We Write In
We lost our biggest client in 2019. It was the best thing that happened to our business. Three things we changed the week after…
Unpopular opinion: most industry reports tell you what happened. Almost none tell you what to do Monday morning. Here's the one chart I'd act on.

How Thought Leadership Performance Is Measured
We set a baseline at the start, report against it and review it with you. Platform numbers tell us what’s working; business signals tell us whether it matters.
Likes aren’t pipeline. We report social engagement as social engagement, and track conversations and inquiries separately where you can share that data. How we think about engagement rate
Relevant Visibility and Audience Growth
- Impressions and reach over time
- Follower growth, and who's following
- Profile views and searches
Content Engagement and Audience Quality
- Comments and conversations, not just likes
- Engagement from your target roles and accounts
- Which topics and formats earn attention
Qualified Conversations and Business Signals
- Inbound messages, connection requests and mentions
- Speaking, media and partnership invitations
- Inquiries you attribute to your content

Choosing a Thought Leadership Marketing Agency
Most thought leadership agencies sound the same on their websites. Ask them these questions. Here are our answers.
Our writing team, working from your voice profile and monthly interview, not a template library.

Thought Leadership Services FAQs
Straight answers about channels, voice, time, scope and cost.
Start with the free audit. You’ll know where you stand either way.
Is this service limited to LinkedIn?
No. LinkedIn is where most executive programs focus, and we also deliver on X, Facebook and Instagram. We recommend channels based on where your audience actually spends time, so you don’t need to be everywhere.
How is executive thought leadership different from social media management?
Social media management runs your company’s brand accounts. Thought leadership builds the authority of a named person: your insights, your voice, your profile. Many clients run both. For company accounts, see our social media marketing services.
How do you capture and preserve an executive's voice?
We start with a voice interview and examples of how you write and speak, and turn them into a voice profile our writers work from. Each monthly interview adds fresh stories and opinions, and your edits on drafts sharpen the voice over time. Drafts come to you for approval before they’re published.
How much executive input and approval time is required?
One interview a month, plus reviewing drafts. We handle the planning, writing, design, scheduling and reporting. If it suits you, a delegate on your team can handle day-to-day approvals.
Which content formats and publishing activities are included?
Written posts, carousels and branded visuals, and profile optimization. Publishing and engagement are handled however you’re comfortable: we can publish and manage replies, or schedule and draft for you to post. Cadence and volume are set in your plan.
Does the service include prospecting or outbound messaging?
No. Thought leadership builds authority and inbound interest. It doesn’t send outreach messages on your behalf. If you want outbound, our B2B lead generation service runs cold email and LinkedIn outreach as a separate program.
How are results measured, and what affects the timeline?
We set a baseline at the start, then report on visibility, audience growth, engagement quality, and conversations or inquiries where you can share that data. Authority builds with consistency. Your starting audience, cadence, niche and how actively you engage all affect how quickly results show. We don’t promise follower counts or virality.
Are paid promotion and production costs included?
Our fee covers strategy, writing, design, publishing support and reporting. Boosting top posts is optional, and ad spend is paid separately to the platform, so you control the budget. Production outside your plan, like a video shoot, is quoted before any work starts.
Can you run a program for several leaders?
Yes. We can run coordinated programs for a CEO and other leaders, each in their own voice, quoted per profile.
What's in the free LinkedIn Authority Audit?
We review your LinkedIn profile and your last 90 days of posts, then walk you through it on a call: what’s working, what’s missing and what a program would look like for you. There’s no cost and no obligation.
