Demand Gen and YouTube Inventory Selection
Demand Gen is a campaign type, not an ad format. It can show your video and image ads on YouTube (in-stream, in-feed and Shorts) and on other Google surfaces such as Discover and Gmail. Google replaced Video Action Campaigns with Demand Gen. We use channel controls to choose YouTube-only or wider distribution on purpose, and we report each separately.
Channel controls decide. We report each surface separately where Google allows.
Format details follow Google’s current ad format documentation. We don’t sell overlay ads or legacy Video Action Campaigns.
Video Creative and Testing Responsibilities
On YouTube, most viewers decide in five seconds. We build ads for that moment, test versions against each other, and spell out who does what.
Brand or problem on screen immediately. People decide to skip before the button even appears.
Say why to keep watching before the Skip button shows at 5 seconds.
Demo, testimonial or before-and-after for viewers who stayed.
One next step that matches the landing page, spoken and on screen.
How we structure a skippable in-stream ad. Timings are a guide, not a rule.
Existing Assets, Adaptation and New Production
We plan the concepts, write hooks and scripts, and edit and cut down your footage into ads. Need new footage? Filming is a separate service we can quote.
- Use what you have: brand films, testimonials, demos, webinars
- Adapt it: 6s bumpers, 15s cut-downs, vertical Shorts versions, captions and end screens
- New footage: a separate shoot, quoted before anything is booked
Creative Testing and Iteration
Every round tests one thing at a time, so we know why an ad won.
- Hook, offer, message, CTA and format variants
- Judged on cost per result, not view count
- Refresh before results fade, with your approval
Usage Rights and Approvals
Nothing runs until you sign off and the rights are clear.
- You own your footage and the final ad files
- Music, talent and creator rights checked for paid use
- Every script and edit approved by you before launch

Our Team and YouTube Evidence Standards
You won’t see borrowed Search or social numbers dressed up as YouTube results here. You’ll see who runs your account, and the standard every result is held to.
YouTube is part of our Google Ads management: video campaigns for awareness, consideration and remarketing.
We don’t currently publish YouTube-specific case-study results. The credentials above describe our agency, not YouTube campaign outcomes.
Every YouTube result we report shows:- The objective, named before launch
- Dates and media spend for the period
- YouTube inventory split from Discover, Gmail and partners
- The baseline we started from
- Outcomes in their own units: views aren’t leads, leads aren’t sales
- The attribution window, and click vs engaged-view conversions

YouTube Ads Reporting and Performance Measurement
Views are where an ad starts. What it’s judged on depends on your goal, and how it’s counted is always on the report.
- Unique reach and frequency
- Cost per 1,000 impressions
- View rate
- Brand lift, if a study is scoped
- Views and cost per view
- Engaged views and site visits
- View rate and watch time
- Channel and search lift
- Conversions and cost per lead
- Qualified leads (from your CRM)
- Engaged-view conversions, reported separately
- Landing page conversion rate
- Purchases and cost per purchase
- Return on ad spend
- New vs returning customers
- Engaged-view conversions, reported separately
Measures Matched to the Objective
Each campaign gets one goal and one target before launch. Views alone never count as success for a lead or sales campaign.
Attribution and Channel Separation
We show click-through, engaged-view and view-through results apart, name the attribution window, and split YouTube from Discover, Gmail and partner inventory where Google reports it.
Reporting Responsibilities and Next Decisions
You get a live dashboard and a monthly review: what ran, what it cost, what we learned and what we'll change. We set up or check conversion tracking. Matching leads to sales happens in your CRM; you tell us which ones closed.
YouTube Ads Management Fees and Media Spend
How much do YouTube ads cost? Your ad spend goes to Google. Our management fee comes to us. Anything else is quoted before it happens.
Not to scale. Your budget decides the split.
Agency Fees Versus Advertising Budget
Media spend is billed by Google to your card. Our management fee is separate and covers strategy, setup, optimization and reporting. Your ad spend never passes through us.
You set the budget. We pace it.Creative and Landing-Page Costs
Concepts, scripts, editing and cut-downs of your footage are part of the plan. Filming, new production and landing pages are quoted separately, before anything is booked.
Nothing is booked without your OK.Budget Planning and Engagement Terms
Your quote depends on your goal, audience, inventory and how many ads we test. You get a written quote after one call. We recommend a starting test budget for your goal.
Month to month. No lock-in.YouTube Ads Agency FAQs
Scope, cost, creative, account control and measurement.
What is included in your YouTube Ads management service?
Strategy, campaign planning, audience and inventory controls, setup, launch, weekly optimization, creative testing and reporting, plus a conversion tracking check. Concepts, scripts and editing of your footage are included; filming is a separate service. Your ad spend is paid to Google separately.
How much do YouTube ads cost, and what is separate from your management fee?
There are three parts: ad spend you pay Google directly, our monthly management fee, and any optional work such as filming or a landing page. What you pay Google depends on your audience, format, bidding and competition. We send a written quote after one call, with no packages you don’t need.
Do you create video ads, or can you work with our existing footage?
Both. We plan the concepts, write hooks and scripts, and edit and cut down your footage into ads. Need new footage? Filming is a separate service we can quote. Most accounts start with existing footage cut into 6-second, 15-second and vertical versions.
Which YouTube ad formats and campaign types do you manage?
Skippable in-stream, in-feed and Shorts ads, bumper and non-skippable ads, and Demand Gen campaigns. We pick formats for your goal and the creative you have, not to fill a checklist.
How do you choose between YouTube-only and wider Demand Gen distribution?
We start from your goal and creative. When YouTube viewers are the point, we use channel controls to keep Demand Gen on YouTube. When the goal is conversions at the lowest cost, we may test Discover and Gmail too, and report those placements separately so you can see what YouTube itself did.
Do we need an existing YouTube channel and Google Ads account?
Video ads are hosted on a YouTube channel, so you need one, but it doesn’t need subscribers or regular posts. If you don’t have a Google Ads account, we help you create one in your name, with your billing.
Who owns the advertising account, creative and campaign data?
You do. The Google Ads account, billing, YouTube channel, audiences, conversion data and final ad files stay yours. We work through manager access and hand everything over if you leave.
Can you take over an existing YouTube campaign?
Yes. We audit what’s running and the tracking behind it, keep what works and restructure the rest. History stays in your account.
How will you measure leads, sales and assisted conversions?
We track leads and sales with Google Ads conversion tracking and GA4, and report click-through, engaged-view and view-through conversions separately, with the attribution window named. Qualified leads and revenue come from your CRM, so your team tells us which leads closed.
What needs to be ready before launch, and how is the testing period agreed?
A clear offer, usable video (or a plan to make it), account and channel access, a landing page and working conversion tracking. We agree a test budget, a target and a review date up front, so you know when we’ll decide what to keep, change or stop.
